I’m new to Nootropics but have been researching for about 6 months because I wanted to create my own stack instead. I’ve read the “How to Create the Best Nootropic Stack” article already but if there are any stack recommendation to hit all areas suggested that would be awesome.
For a general, good, all-around nootropics stack that covers all the common brain issues, I’d do this:
Cognition, Thinking and Decision-Making
Lion’s Mane Mushroom
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT)
DHA (Omega 3)
Anxiety and Depression
Energy and Motivation
CoQ10 & Ubiquinol
Brain Repair and Maintenance
Many of these overlap into other areas as you can see by looking at the original article here: http://nootropicsexpert.com/how-to-create-the-best-nootropic-stack/
This is the reason I use Mind Lab Pro as my base stack because it contains everything except DHA and CoQ10. And you could eliminate the Vitamins B6 & B12 and just use a really good B-Complex that contains “folate” and “methylcobalamin”.
I suggest using Ubiquinol instead of CoQ10 because you’re body uses it in that form. No conversion required. And your brain is made up largely of DHA so it needs that fatty acid.
And honestly, I wouldn’t eliminate anything from that stack. Because using it for 2 or 3 months goes a long way to repair any damage caused just by living. I was able to go for a year with severe Adult ADD (inattentive) using that stack. And not using prescription ADHD meds.
So it really depends on what your budget will allow. And using Mind Lab Pro saves a lot in that area compared to buying each supplement separately.
Hope that helps. It’s hard to give a recommendation without knowing more. Like age, health issues, etc.
