How Nootropics Can Help You

You can end your search now. Because here on Nootropics Expert you’ll find the help you have been searching for. No matter the brain health problem that is making your life miserable.

Here you’ll find information on this List of Nootropics which has dozens and dozens of links to nootropic supplement reviews that I’ve written, and update as soon as new science becomes available. In a language that is easy to understand.

You’ll learn where each supplement comes from, how it works, the benefits you can expect, how much you should use and how often, possible side effects, and how to select from dozens of options – which one to buy.

NOTE: Every single word on Nootropics Expert is written by me. It’s not an AI or a contract copywriter.

You will also discover that everything I write about a supplement is supported by peer-reviewed clinical studies. You will not find links to other websites or blogs.

Instead, you will find dozens of clickable links in each supplement review and article to supporting and relevant clinical studies.

So you have the option of reading the same research I found and used to write my reviews and articles.

My hope is that if you’re overwhelmed by the fragmented information for nootropics spread across several websites, you can end your search on what has become the best nootropics website.

Quickly find out how one nootropic may interact with another. Which ones are safe. And which nootropic supplements have side effects. I will cover all that here.

Use my Nootropics Guide to get more familiar with the top nootropics and different types of cognitive enhancers and what they do. Soon you’ll be able to safely build your own nootropic stack.

I’m happy you’re here. Because you should be able to find everything you need to know about nootropics on Nootropics Expert. No need to go anywhere else.

Armed with this knowledge you can choose the best nootropics for you, and finally start experiencing the benefits you’re working to achieve.

Dear David;

Which is better to take i.e. NADH or NAD+ or MitoQ

    David Tomen
    December 9, 2023

MitoQ is a synthetic analogue of coenzyme Q10 and a completely different supplement compare to NADH or NAD+. As for NADH or NAD+ it depends on what you are trying to fix. There are some studies for example that if you’ve had COVID your NAD+ levels are depleted. But you cannot increase them by supplementing with NAD+. You can only increase NAD+ by supplementing with plain old niacin.

Hi David
I’m just enquiring about consultations. I live in the UK. Would you be able to do a consultation with me living in this region? Also I hope you dont mind me asking but how come it would be a voice call only and not a video call? Also I were looking at the booking times and just want to make sure, are the times that are there represent the time it would be in England for the call? Thank you.
Best wishes Will

Will, I do consultations with people worldwide. If you are outside North America we talk via Skype, Zoom, or Google Meet. I do audio only because video is just a distraction. My consultations go deep into a person’s brain health issues and how it is affecting your life. And we don’t need to be looking at each other when we need to concentrate on what is troubling you.

I use Calendly to schedule consultations and the times you see are your time zone. It auto-translates that to my time zone on my end once you’ve booked the consult.

This is great thank you. I am currently writing my situation and goals. Could you tell me where I would need to send you this for before the consultation once I have finished writing it?
      Thank you
      Best wishes
      Will

Will, there is a place during scheduling your consultation where you can input that information.

Hello David, my question is why does L-theanine give me a buzz like I just smoked weed.

    David Tomen
    December 7, 2023

Brenda, either you have a supplement that contains something other than L-Theanine (which unfortunately is fairly common in this industry). Or L-Theanine is simply the wrong supplement for you.

David,
I have Parkinson’s. I’d like to get some guidance on stopping my tremors.
I’d also like to get your thoughts on how to stop muscle stiffness/rigidity.

Thank you

Would you be able to recommend anything for diabetics with arthritis in order to:
Minimize joint pain,
aid restoration of natural cellular response to sugars,
assist in hunger/satiation to aid weight loss,
promote a feeling of vitality and energy?

Personally tried dozens of the big list here (in alignment with your recommendations on each) for my own needs (very positively), but this one is for a relative and im not really sure what to suggest.

My thought are sitting with Berberine+Silymarin, Cats Claw, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Resveratrol/Pterostilbene, NAC, + Quercetin+VitaminC.
But not sure the implications/interactions and considerations on diabetic condition and other treatments.

David, you are on the right track. I too would suggest Berberine and Milk Thistle extract and it would be right at the top of my list. But I’m not an expert on arthritis although Kratom works great for pain reduction.

David, Shilajit is on my “to do” list. I haven’t had the time to do a review yet but hopefully will get to it sometime soon.

I want to take 30mg/day of noopept sublingually by dissolving 900mg in 30ml of solvent and taking 1ml of the solution daily. The solvents that come to mind are water and food grade propylene glycol. Do you have recommendations for any other solvents?

Thanks for all the thorough, accurate and friendly content you provide. Love it!

    David Tomen
    November 22, 2023

David, I’ve not tried Noopept sublingually and never found the need to because it works just fine in tablet or capsule form. But the only way to find out how it works is by trying it. I’ve no recommendations for solvent options. So let us know how it works!

Hello David,
Question for you, Sir. Do you recommend cycling Maca? Historically, I have not. However, I see quite a few people online suggesting that one should. Just curious as to your thoughts. Thank you!

    David Tomen
    November 13, 2023

David, cycling amino acids has never made any sense to me. Because they have such a short half-life that within a few hours they are completely flushed out of your system if not used. You will not get their benefit again until the next time you use that supplement. And Maca is used as a staple by the indigenous people of the high Andes. Cycling Maca would be like cycling potatoes. It just does not make sense.

Thank you David! I always appreciate the way you explain things in practical and easy to understand terms.
