Over 1 million bottles of Mind Lab Pro have been sold in six continents.

It has gained thousands of 5-star customer reviews. And Mind Lab Pro has undergone a double-blind, placebo controlled trial conducted independently by Leeds University in the U.K.

I was surprised by the degree of statistical significance. We have submitted our finding to peer-reviewed scientific journals for publication. We are soon to begin work on the next phase” of scientific brain health research.

The team at Opti Nutra Ltd designed and introduced Mind Lab Pro in 2015. It is a combination of 11 natural nootropic ingredients.

Mind Lab Pro contains 11 multi-tasking natural nootropic ingredients supporting 6 aspects to improve cognitive function.

Most Mind Lab Pro competitors target 2 or 3 brain pathways only. Using synthetics or botanicals narrowly focused to address memory or concentration or longevity.

Mind Lab Pro on the other hand is intended to unlock 100% of your brain function by optimizing 4 key mental performance categories.

Mind Lab Pro works by:

Improve Brain Energy

The combination of Citicoline, Phosphatidylserine (PS), Pine Bark Extract, Rhodiola Rosea, and Vitamins B9 and B12 work in synergy. For faster memory encoding, quicker recall and reaction time, and stress resistance.

Increasing Brain Blood Flow

Citicoline, Bacopa Monnieri, Pine Bark Extract, and Vitamins B6, B9 and B12 work together to increase blood brain circulation.

The result is improve memory recall, processing speed, verbal fluidity, creativity, and better brain repair and maintenance.

Supporting Brain Waves

Citicoline and L-Theanine work in concert to optimize neural electrical signaling for quicker thinking. And support Alpha and Theta brain waves for enhanced creativity.

It keeps you alert and focused while studying and for problem solving.

Increasing Neurotransmitters

Citicoline, Phosphatidylserine (PS), L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, Rhodiola Rosea, and Vitamins B6 and B9 combined increase and support key neurotransmitters including acetylcholine, dopamine, GABA, and serotonin.

You enjoy better learning and memory, quicker reaction time, optimal mental performance under high stress, better mood, and less anxiety.

Brain Regeneration

Citicoline, Phosphatidylserine (PS), Bacopa Monnieri, and Lion’s Mane Mushroom work together for brain plasticity, long-term potentiation needed to encode long-term memory.

Mental processing speed, motivation, and longevity all get a boost with this combo.

All 11 ingredients in this premium nootropic stack support long term optimal brain chemistry and health for optimal mental performance no matter what your age.

What Are The Natural Ingredients in Mind Lab Pro?

This is the updated nootropic formula used in Mind Lab Pro that works so well for me. And for millions of other neurohackers around the world.

Mind Lab Pro ingredients are natural, non-GMO, vegan friendly and pureNOTE: this section is the most detailed part of this review. I encourage you to read it because it explains how and why Mind Lab Pro works so well to improve cognitive function.

Bacopa Monnieri

Bacopa Monnieri 150 mg (24% bacosides w/ 9 bioactives) – speeds learning time and improves memory including recall.[i]

The active bacosides in Bacopa Monnieri protect brain cells from free radicals which prevents cell damage and brain cell death.

Bacopa Monnieri also supports acetylcholine, GABA, and serotonin – all tied to improved focus, clear memory, mental clarity, a better mood, and overall brain health. Bacopa Monnieri even helps increase cerebral circulation.

Citicoline

Citicoline 250 mg – is a precursor to the synthesis of acetylcholine for better brain cell signaling which results in enhanced attention, concentration, memory, logical reasoning, learning and focus. And less brain fog.[ii]

Citicoline also helps synthesize phosphatidylcholine (PC), a major phospholipid needed for keeping brain cell membranes permeable and flexible which eases the flow of neurotransmitters, oxygen, and nutrients.

Phosphatidylserine (PS)

Phosphatidylserine (PS) (as Sharp PS® Green) 100 mg – is one of the more powerful nootropic supplements because it supports short-term memory, the consolidation of long-term memory, improve mental clarity, the ability to create new memories, the ability to retrieve memories, the ability to focus attention and concentrate, the ability to reason and solve problems, language skills, the ability to communicate, and slows mental decline.[iii]

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid making up 15% of your brain cell membranes. Maintaining cellular fluidity, optimizing neuroreceptors and promoting acetylcholine and dopamine. PS also increases Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) to help neurogenesis, brain cell maintenance and repair.

The Phosphatidylserine used in Mind Lab Pro is the only nootropic supplement with an American FDA-approved claim for reducing the risk of cognitive decline in the human brain.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

Lion’s Mane Mushroom (organic full spectrum, fruiting body) 500 mg – is effective for improving memory, neuron repair, liver detox, and regulating blood Lion's Mane Mushroom in Mind Lab Pro promotes neurogenesissugar and cholesterol levels.[iv]

Lion’s Mane Mushroom is one of the very few medicinal mushrooms that supports brain health. The active hericenones and erinacines stimulate Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) which increases neurogenesis, and myelin axon sheath synthesis for better cognitive function.[v]

You experience improved neuroplasticity, which is required for encoding long-term memory, and the repair and maintenance of neurons, dendrites, axons, and synapses for better long term brain health.[vi]

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea (3% rosavins and 1% salidrosides) 50 mg – improves mental performance under stress and puts you in a better mood.[vii]

Rhodiola Rosea helps you feel better by influencing dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, and the feel-good opioids like beta-endorphins in your brain. And it boosts neurogenesis for better memory, activates the synthesis of ATP for cellular energy, and reduces the inflammatory C-reactive protein (CRP) for improved cognition.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine  100 mg – improves focus , sleep, immune system strength, and blood pressure control.

L-Theanine increases alpha brain waves associated with relaxation and enhanced creativity. It also helps reduce cortisol while promoting calming neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA. You experience better attention, alertness and focus which helps you with creative problem solving, learning, and studying.[viii]

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT)

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) 175 mg – is an enhanced form of the amino acid L-Tyrosine which is required for the synthesis of dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. By boosting these catecholamines you experience improved cognition and memory, and it helps put you in a better mood.

NALT has been shown to promote working memory when multitasking.  And NALT helps you optimize mental performance especially under increased cognitive demand while under stress, fatigue, and sleep deprivation.[ix]

Maritime Pine Bark Extract

Maritime Pine Bark Extract (95% proanthocyanidins) 75 mg – is used to increase nitric oxide which helps dilate blood vessels for better cerebral blood flow. This delivers more oxygen and glucose to your brain cells for more energy, better learning and memory, enhanced focus, and an elevated mood, and to improve cognitive functioning.[x]

Pine Bark Extract is one the most potent antioxidants ever discovered. Scavenging free radicals to protect neurons from oxidative damage.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (NutriGenesis® pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P)) 2.5 mg – is a required cofactor for the synthesis of dopamine, GABA, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Which influences your mood, increases melatonin for better sleep, and helps regulate your body clock.[xi]

B6 also helps protect your brain from excess homocysteine that can damage blood vessel linings and lead to brain fog. And B6 helps form myelin which is the protective sheath that surrounds axons used for signal transmission in your brain and body.

Vitamin B9

Vitamin B9 (NutriGenesis® methyl-folate) 100 mcg – participates in one-carbon transfers for the synthesis of DNA and RNA. And it works with the other two B-Vitamins in this stack helping to regulate homocysteine levels.[xii]

Folate is also involved in gene expression, amino acid synthesis, and myelin synthesis and repair.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (NutriGenesis® methylcobalamin) 7.5 mcg – required to regulate homocysteine levels in your brain and body.

B12 is also a required cofactor in the synthesis of dopamine, GABA, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Low levels of Vitamin B12 have been linked to poor mood and cognition leading to cognitive decline at any age.[xiii]

One of the things that stands out in this nootropic stack and makes it even more unique is Mind Lab Pro® 4.0 chooses to use their proprietary NutriGenesis® form of vitamins. No other nootropic supplement manufacturer can make this claim.

The B-Vitamins used in this stack are bio-identical to ensure they are completely absorbed for use by your body and brain.

Is Mind Lab Pro Right for You?

That is the question I posed at the beginning of this review.

how much does mind lab pro cost and is it worth itYou should now have a better sense of what Mind Lab Pro is, and what it does. You can stop your search because you have found the best pre-made nootropic stack on planet.

Mind Lab Pro is designed to be a great overall, universal nootropic stack that works for most people. It does that and it does it very well.

But is Mind Lab Pro the right choice for you?

It was not designed to address specific cognitive health problems such as autism, ADHD, OCD, clinical anxiety or depression, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or Huntington’s Disease.

If you are dealing with any of these cognitive health issues Mind Lab Pro® 4.0 may be a good beginner’s stack to get you started with nootropics.

Because it will likely take a deeper dive into the issues you are dealing with. And a nootropic stack that is designed for your unique cognitive health issues. No pre-made nootropic stack or single dietary supplement can do that.

If you need help with specific issues I suggest booking a Personal Consultation with me. And we’ll design a stack that works specifically for you.

How Much Does Mind Lab Pro Cost?

A 30-day supply of Mind Lab Pro if you use the recommended 2 capsules per day is only $69 (+ shipping).

Or you can save some money by choosing a 3-month supply (3 bottles) of Mind Lab Pro0 and get one bottle free (including free international shipping) for only $207. That saves you 25% and works out to only $51.75 per bottle.

Nootropics Expert® Recommendation

Nootropics Expert Tested and Approved Mind Lab Pro daily for the last 6 yearsI recommend Mind Lab Pro as the best premium nootropic stack for total brain optimization and cognitive performance.

Pricing of Mind Lab Pro is competitive for what you get. Some on reddit.com and other blogs have commented that you can only get Mind Lab Pro from their website. And complain that they do not offer a free trial.

I’ve been in this business for many years and completely understand the problem with offering a free trial. You simply cannot when you are selling a high-quality dietary supplement product at the best price you can to stay competitive..

And a free trial is not needed when you have a 100% risk-free, money-back guarantee.

The company also chose not to sell Mind Lab Pro on Amazon.  Because they do not want it to appear alongside any other low-quality brain supplement.

I get that. Amazon User Reviews are easily manipulated by jealous competitors or any yahoo looking to destroy a well-earned great reputation for no reason at all.

Once you understand the effort that went into developing this premium nootropic stack, Amazon.com is not the place for extensive product descriptions either.

So if you have been searching for a high-quality pre-made nootropic stack – I highly recommend trying Mind Lab Pro.

Does Mind Lab Pro Really Work?

This is the best pre-made nootropic stack I’ve ever used. And this after nearly 14 years of trying dozens of nootropics. Both individual nootropic supplements, and various pre-made stacks by different manufacturers.

Mind Lab Pro is certainly not the cheapest nootropic stack on the market. But it is fairly priced at only $69 for a month supply.

You simply can not put this stack together with individual nootropic supplements for twice or even three times more than what Mind Lab Pro sells it for.

And consider this, Mind Lab Pro went the extra mile by including the best quality ingredients available for this stack.

Product and packaging quality, brand name ingredients, testing and more testing, and organic whenever possible.

Mind Lab Pro even uses vegan NutriCaps® capsules made from tapioca, and their own bioactive NutriGenesis® vitamins. None of their competitors come even close to matching that.

I encourage you to search no further, and try Mind Lab Pro today:

will taking just 2 a day work as well or does it have to be the 4 a day?

    David Tomen
    November 11, 2024

Kevin, all of the clinical studies done with Mind Lab Pro used 2 capsules per day with consistent success. But a few use 4 capsules per day. Two in the morning and two capsules at noon.

Thanks for the great review. I’m currently taking Turmeric and Vitamin D with a tbsp of coconut oil (and, usually, a bit of ginger powder in water) on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. Is it ok to take the 2 MLP caps along with those, or does the MLP need to be separate from those (to be on a truly “empty stomach”…and/or to not interfere with any of the ingredients)? (If the latter, how much time needs to be between them and which first?)

    David Tomen
    November 5, 2024

Richard, I take Mind Lab Pro with all of my other supplements at the same time with a tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil and it works great.

Thanks for the reply and glad to hear that, David. Is Turmeric or Curcumin among the other supplements you’re taking with the MLP? [ I read that “Curcumin interferes in the activity of drug metabolising enzymes” and should therefore be taken 3-4 hours away from any medications. So, I was specifically wondering about the Turmeric and if it would inhibit the metabolism of any of the MLP’s ingredients (similar for the Vitamin D3/K2 I’m taking at the same time)? ]

Richard, I use Curcumin at the same time as I take Mind Lab Pro with no problem. There is nothing in the science showing otherwise.

can i take mind lab pro with omega 3 from fish oil together?or it gonna effect some of the ingredients on mind lab pro like l tyrosine

    David Tomen
    April 1, 2024

Fouad, supplementing with Omega-3s compliments Mind Lab Pro. But make sure that Omega-3 provides at least 1,000 mg DHA and 500 mg EPA. Most Omega-3s do not so I recommend looking for a DHA supplement with those ingredients.

Hi David

Is there any any logic to me trying mindlab pro if I have abandoned 500mg l-tyrosine daily on its own?

I may be inattentive, and have become functional through significant compromise in work life balance.

About a year ago I took 500 mg L-tyrosine once a day for a few days. At the start of the day it gave me a glimpse of “what life could be like” but tapered into anxiety and irritability in the afternoon/evening, and poor sleep. I tried lowering the dose after the 3 days, but I lost the positive boost and retained still too much of the negative side effects.

Reaching a further low point a year on, I tried 2 days of 100 mg 5 HTP. Again some positive influence (racing thoughts calmed, some focus), but I felt what was probably dopamine depletion quite quickly and too chilled during my next working day.

I have now had 3 days of 200 mg of L-theanine and actually it felt like it gave me the positives of both L-tyrosine and 5 htp. However, I have a headache and nausea at points. I tried without caffeine and have quite a high tolerance to it anyway, but same result.

I have been reflecting on what to do next to try to achieve the motivation, focus and positive thinking I desperately need and may be helped with nootropics.

Either it is about the something to support the dopamine I do have into the motivation pathway – acetylcholine (I do eat 2 eggs for breakfast, so perhaps alpha GPC). Or I do need to boost dopamine but balanced in a stack to avoid too much conversion to norepinephrine.

I am considering buying mindlab as it appears to have considered this balance, but hoped you might comment on my logic as I do appear to be quite sensitive to L-tyrosine and L-Theanine. Many people report similar sensitivities and I never read of anyone overcoming these – rather they give up or don’t report back.

thanks

    David Tomen
    March 9, 2024

Ross, Mind Lab Pro only contains 175 mg Tyrosine and 100 mg L-Theanine. But it also contains 9 others ingredients that work in synergy and works for most people. They’ve sold well over a million bottles of this supplement so far. Which I think is a testament to how well it works. Mind Lab Pro is a well balanced stack so I suggest trying it.

      Ross
      April 9, 2024

      Thanks David.
I have been taking MLP for the last 3 weeks. Its generally been a positive experience. MLP brings a sharpness that theanine couldn’t on its own, and the tyrosine is now working for me. It makes me alert and focussed very soon after taking it in the morning.

However, I am noticing by 1-2 pm, still with focus, I am quite tired and may be struggling to recall some specific things or quickly find words in conversation. I read one amazon review reporting the same early afternoon drop. Have you heard similar and any suggestion to why this may be happening? Wondering if lions mane or bacopa might be worth taking a bit more of?

An obvious solution may be to take more MLP at lunch time, but this will likely push the issue to the evening and is expensive.

I am trying ALCAR in addition at the moment and it strengthens the overall feeling and may prolong a little. NAC takes too much of the edge off the MLP for me, despite it killing my rumination (going to revisit dosing).

        David Tomen
        April 10, 2024

Ross, the L-Tyrosine in MLP has a half life of 2.5 – 3 hours. So the Tyrosine you take at 8 AM is gone by noon and can no longer make dopamine. Which is what you are describing from 1 -2 PM. You can either take another MLP dose or take 500 mg L-Tyrosine at noon to counter that slump.

    David Tomen
    December 14, 2023

Eric, I have not found a need to cycle using Mind Lab Pro. If you divide your dose 2 caps in the morning and 2 caps at noon you get the benefit of this supplement all day and by the end of the day, any that has not been used is excreted from your system.
